徳島県神山町の鮎食川（あくいがわ）を上流に深山幽谷を進むと現れる美しい滝です。夏には涼を得ることができ、冬季には、落差約30mの氷爆を拝むことができます。『阿波の伝説』（1977年 / 武田明・守川慎一郎 著）によると、江戸時代、幕府に阿波の国の神通の名瀑の場所を聞かれ、阿波藩主の蜂須賀（はちすか）公は急遽探索させてこの滝を発見し幕府にお伝えしたそうです。

I went to see the Frozen waterfall “Jintsu no taki” at Kamiyama town, Tokushima pref., Japan. It was very beautiful landscape.

Jinzu Falls is a beautiful waterfall that appears as you travel upstream through a deep mountain valley along the Akui River in Kamiyama-cho, Tokushima Prefecture. In summer, you can enjoy the cool air, and in winter you can see the ice explosion with a drop of about 30 metres. According to The Legend of Awa (1977 / written by Akira Takeda and Shin-ichiro Morikawa), during the Edo period, when the shogunate was asked about the location of the famous Jinzu waterfall in the province of Awa, Lord Hachisuka, the lord of the Awa domain, had a hasty search conducted and discovered this waterfall and informed the shogunate.

滝に向かう途中の道。雪で覆われていたので車を停めて歩きました。


道の脇は鮎喰川（あくいがわ）。


道の脇にはすでに氷爆。

登山口から滝までの距離は約600ｍ、普段であれば徒歩約15分。足元が滑りやすいのでこの日は30分ほどかかりました。

神通の滝 – 徳島県

落差25ｍもある垂直の滝、それはまさに降天の御神体と呼ぶに相応しい。俗なるものの立入を阻む深山幽谷の境、巨大な岸壁に包まれ、圧倒する水音の持続の中で、人はいつしか夏の酷暑も世俗の憂いも忘れて、降り注ぐ清水のしぶきと陽光の中で次第に心が洗われて行く。「阿波の伝説」（角川書店）によれば、江戸幕府より阿波の国の神通の名瀑の所在を聞かれ、阿波藩主蜂須賀公は急遽藩内を探索させ、この滝を言上したとのこと。
