【徳島・海女さん募集！】 全国から漁師や海女になりたい若者がやってくる漁村集落「伊座利」で漁村留学生を募集

全国各地からの家族ぐるみの移住者や、漁師をしたいと移住してくる若者などで人口が回復し、高齢化率も低下している小さな漁村集落の徳島県・伊座利（いざり）で、漁村留学生を募集しています。伊座利のレポートはこちらをどうぞ。

Izari of Tokushima pref. is known for immigration policy of fishing village. The Chinese character “Izari” means fishing. Izari is literary a fishing village. Izari is a small village whose population is about 100 people. The only school in the village was facing a crisis of abolition. At that time, the inhabitants stood for the school with saying “Don’t put out the light of the school!!”. So they try to invite more people from other prefectures providing accommodation. This case shows one possibility of independence of local communities. They are looking for students who would like to join the school of village.

2019漁村留学生募集中
太平洋と三方を山に囲まれた小さな漁村の伊座利には、小学生と中学生が同じ校舎で学ぶ美波町立の伊座利校（通称）があります。その伊座利校へ2019年4月からの漁村留学生を募集しています。約20年前から伊座利地区の住民が主体となって取り組んでいるこの制度で、短期間から定住を希望する家族の児童生徒たち約100名以上をこれまでに受け入れてきました。都会にはない人情豊かな漁村で子育てを考えておられる方、田舎暮らしに関心を持っておられる方、今の生活環境を変えてみたいと考えておられる方など、とりあえずお問い合わせください。

なにもないけど、なにかある！再生した漁村集落、伊座利(いざり)へ
IZARI. Success in the regeneration of the village – 物語を届けるしごと

漁村留学で有名な徳島県伊座利へ行ってきました。
「漁」と書いて「いざり」とも読むことからもわかるとおり、伊座利は文字通りの漁村です。
I went to　a village called Izari at Tokushima pref. Izari is known for immigration policy of fishing village.
The Chinese character “Izari” means fishing. Izari is literary a fishing village.

伊座利は、人口100人ほどの小さな漁村ですが、そのうちの19人が小中学生。
私たちがイメージする過疎の村とは少し違います。
Izari is a small village whose population is about 100 people.
19 people are children in the elementary and middle school.
It is little different from what you imagine from the word “depopulated village”.

その昔、村で唯一の小中学校が廃校の危機に迫られたときに、
「学校の灯火を消すな！」を合言葉に住民が家を用意するなど県外からの漁村留学に取り組みました。

その結果、6年間で地区の人口を100人から130人へと130％に増加させることに成功し、
地方自立のあり方のひとつとして注目を浴びています。
ちなみに、現在の全校生徒19名のうち、16名が漁村留学で全国から集まった生徒だそうです。
As a result, they succeeded the population increased from 100 to 130 people in 6 years.
This case shows one possibility of independence of local communities.
