総務省家計調査（2022年/令和4年）によると、高松市の牡蠣の消費額は1世帯あたり1805円で、なんと全国1位です。（参考：高松市、去年の「かき」支出金額が広島市抜き初の１位 総務省家計調査｜NHK 香川県のニュース）香川県内には、牡蠣小屋と呼ばれる、牡蠣養殖場から直送の牡蠣食べ放題のお店がたくさんあり、冬になると多くの地元の人が訪れるます。

鹿酔庵（ろくすいあん）は、瀬戸内の牡蠣の食べ放題を楽しむことのできるお店です。瀬戸内の牟礼（むれ / 香川県高松市）・粟島（あわしま / 香川県三豊市）・赤穂（あこう / 兵庫県赤穂市）の3か所の牡蠣を、時期によって産地を変えていただくことができます。

There are many all-you-can-eat oyster restaurants in Kagawa Prefecture, called oyster huts, directly from oyster farms, which are visited by many locals in winter.

Rokusuian is a restaurant where you can enjoy all-you-can-eat oysters from the Setouchi region.
Oysters from three locations in the Seto Inland Sea – Mure (Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture), Awashima (Mitoyo City, Kagawa Prefecture) and Ako (Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture) – are available in different regions depending on the season.

鉄板の上にフタをして蒸します。


フタを開けると湯気のなかから口が空いた牡蠣が現れます。


左手に軍手、右手に道具を持って牡蠣殻を開きます。


2回目以降もバケットの中にある牡蠣を追加して10分程度蒸して食べます。牡蠣でお腹いっぱい。


締めは、牡蠣めしとお汁。お店の人に言うと、食べたいタイミングでご飯とお汁を持ってきてくれます。
