東北食べる通信で西和賀町を紹介する際に とても鮮やかな自然風景の写真が使われていたのを 印象色濃く記憶しています。 岩手県西和賀町でその写真を撮っているのが写真家・瀬川強さん。 氷爆のみられる旧湯田町本屋敷の渓谷や 家の近所にある薄緑にみえる川のあたりをご案内いただきました。

I have a strong recollection of the use of photographs of very vivid natural landscapes when introducing Nishiwaga-cho in the Tohoku Taberu Tsushin (eating newspaper). The photographer, Tsuyoshi Segawa, took those pictures in Nishiwaga, Iwate Prefecture. He showed us around the valley of the former Yuda-machi Honyashiki, where the ice waterfall was seen, and the light green river in the neighbourhood of his house.
