【初の夜間公開!】世界初のガラス灯台、日本三大夜灯台の1つ。高松の赤灯台「せとしるべ」 – The World’s First Red Glass Lighthouse

世界初のガラス灯台、日本三大夜灯台の1つ。1964年（昭和39年）から「赤灯台」と呼ばれ、市民に親しまれてきた香川県高松港の赤灯台。その後、改築移設され透過性ガラスブロック1,600個で構成されている「せとしるべ」と呼ばれる現在の灯台は1998年（平成10年）に初点灯したものです。夜の瀬戸内海を照らしてきたこの赤灯台の歴史上、はじめての夜間開放が行われたので、撮影させていただきました。

普段見ることのできない、灯台の内部構造や、海側からみたサンポートの夜景を楽しむことができました。関係者の皆さま、ありがとうございました！この季節、赤灯台までの道は、夜釣りを楽しむ人々で賑わっています。

The Red Lighthouse of Takamatsu is the first lighthouse in the world to be built almost entirely of glass. It was made of 1600 glass blocks. The red glass lighthouse was created along with the 1998 redevelopment of Takamatsu port. The red lighthouse, also called “Setoshirube”. The lighthouse illuminates the Seto Inland Sea. I went to take photographs, when it was first opening day at night.
