高知県中土佐町に伝わる戦国時代から続く祭りで土佐三大祭りのひとつ。
深夜、高さ6m・重さ約1tの大松明の行列が、神社まで練り歩く「御神穀（おみこく）さん」が見どころです。

The Kure Hachimangu Festival is the festival with a history from the age of provincial wars. It is one of three main festivals of Kochi Pref., Japan.
