香川県高松市と台湾の基隆（きいるん／Keelung）市の交流協定締結1周年を記念して、高松市の海辺の倉庫街北浜アリーで「台湾夜市」が開催されています。初日に行ってきたのですが、台湾の美味しい食べ物に多くの人が舌鼓をうっていました。最終日も混雑が予想されるので早い時間から公共交通機関を使用して行かれることをオススメします。

This year is the first anniversary of the agreement of exchange between Keelung city, Taiwan and Takamatsu city, kagawa pref., Japan. For the anniversary, Taiwan Night Market at Takamatsu city is being held at Kitahama alley, Takamatsu city, Kagawa pref., Japan. You can meet delicious foods and crafted products. Since parking places are crowded during the event, using public transportation is recommended. In this event, you can enjoy the impression and atmosphere of Takamatsu city at night, and attracts many people.

小籠包（しょうろんぽう）
Xiaolongbao is a type of Chinese steamed bun (baozi) from the Jiangnan region, especially associated with Shanghai and Wuxi. It is traditionally prepared in Xiaolong, which is a kind of small bamboo steaming basket, which give them their name. Xiaolongbao is often referred to as a kind of “dumpling”, but should not be confused with British or American-style dumplings, nor with Chinese jiaozi. They are also called a “soup dumpling” because they are filled with hot soup and must be eaten carefully. In Shanghainese, they are also sometimes known as siaulon moedeu or xiaolong-style mantous.


台湾のおふくろの味、魯肉飯（ルーローファン / Lurou fan）
Minced pork rice (ló͘-bah-pn̄g) is a Taiwanese style rice dish commonly seen throughout Taiwan. The flavor may vary from one region to another, but the basic ingredients remain the same: ground pork marinated and boiled in soy sauce served on top of steamed rice.
