絶景の瀬戸内海！一度は降りてみたい美しい駅『下灘駅』 – Shimonada station

「一度は降りてみたい!日本の美しい無人駅」としてもテレビや雑誌などで紹介され、最近ではInstagramの影響から国内外から多くの人が訪れる小さな無人駅が、愛媛県の双海町にあります。

I admired the scenic view from the station. Shimonada Station is a railway station on the Yosan Line in Iyo, Ehime Prefecture, Japan. The station is very popular with photographers and tourists. The station is served by the JR Shikoku Yosan Line and is 222.4 km from the beginning of the line at Takamatsu. It is located on the older, original branch of the line which runs along the coast of the Seto Inland Sea. The tourist train Iyonada Monogtari runs on the coastal branch and makes a stop at Shimonada to allow passengers to take in and photograph the scenic views. One train times its arrival at sunset to catch the view of setting sun over the Seto Inland Sea.

夕暮れ時の下灘駅。駅のホームを舞台代わりに利用した音楽イベント「夕焼けプラットホームコンサート」が毎年9月の第1土曜日に開催されています。

下灘駅は、映画のロケ地やテレビ番組の舞台として全国に紹介されています。

賑やかな声が響いています。楽しそう。

ホームのすぐ下は瀬戸内海。海沿いの国道378号が開通するまでは、ホームの下にすぐ波が打ち寄せていて「日本一海に近い駅」でした。
