高松港に、瀬戸内国際芸術祭 バングラデシュ・ファクトリーの構築が始まっています。丘の上にことでんバス。設計は、みかんぐみと仏生山温泉の岡昇平さん。バングラデシュから国をあげて100人以上の職人やダンサー、アーティストが参加します。

The construction of Bangladesh Factory was started at Takamatu port for Setouchi Art Triennale 2013. There is Kotoden bus on the hill. The factory is designed by Architects’ unit “Mikangumi” and Mr. Shohei Oka of Busshozan hot spring. To the factory, more than 100 artisans, dancers and artists will come.

ちなみにこの写真、iPhone未加工の写真でこのコントラスト。日差しがどれだけ強いか想像していただけますでしょうか。とにかく暑いですのでこの夏、瀬戸内にこられる予定の方は熱中症対策を万全に！

For your information, in spite of in the raw, this photo which I took by iPhone was very contrasty. You can imagine blaze of the sun. If you plan to come to Takamatsu in this summer, prepare for heat exhaustion please.

国民総活気量世界一といわれるバングラデシュ。首都ダッカの市場は、食物や工芸製品の部品、ジュートや竹を材料とした道具、楽器、船の工房、唄や踊り、楽団が混在する世界一、楽しく、豊かで、刺激的な場所だ。彼らは毎夕暮れ時、高松港に集まり、ダッカの市場のようなエネルギー溢れる風景が現れる。

Bangladesh is always teeming with energy. The markets of the capital city, Dhaka, are thriving and exciting places, filled with foods, handicrafts, tools made of jute or bamboo, musical instruments, boat building shops, song, dance, and troupes of performers. Bangladeshis will gather in Takamatsu Port until dusk every day, filling it with the energy of a Dhaka market.
