咲き誇る、淡路島「八木のしだれ梅」 – Weeping plum tree at Awajishima island

淡路島に素晴らしい立派なしだれ梅の木があります。淡路島の南あわじ市八木馬回の村上邸には樹齢70年のしだれ梅が、2月下旬から3月まで見事に咲き誇っています。個人宅の庭ですが、毎年梅の花の開花時期のみ、一般公開されています。幅およそ12mに広がる枝の一本一本に咲く梅の花は圧巻です。

There is a splendid weeping plum tree at Awaji island. That is so gorgeous! Flowers in full bloom.　The scent of ume flowers were good. Although the garden is in Murakami-tei (Akira Murakami’s own house), the garden is open to the public.
