香川県さぬき市の瀬戸内海の青木海岸を望む国道11号（香川県高松市〜徳島県徳島市）沿いにあるドライブイン『大川オアシス』。昭和レトロな雰囲気がのこる喫茶店が、インスタ映え効果もあり若い人たちの人気スポットとして注目されています。開業した1964（昭和39）年は東京オリンピックの年。開業直後に、拡幅された国道11号を聖火ランナーが通りました。1988年に瀬戸大橋が開通してからは旅行客が増え、1日に100台以上の大型バスが訪れる日もあるほど賑わっていたそうです。設計は、富岡建築研究所（香川県高松市）。

The drive-in Okawa Oasis is located along Route 11 (Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture – Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture), overlooking the Aoki Coast of the Seto Inland Sea in Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture. This coffee shop with a retro Showa-era atmosphere is attracting attention as a popular spot for young people, partly due to its Instagram effect. It opened in 1964, the year of the Tokyo Olympics. Immediately after its opening, a torchbearer passed along the widened National Route 11, and after the opening of the Seto-ohashi Bridge in 1988, the number of travellers increased and the area became so busy that on some days more than 100 large buses visited the area in a single day. Designed by Tomioka Architectural Institute (Takamatsu, Kagawa).
