【香川】ことでんでお花見。挿頭丘駅（かざしがおかえき） – [Kagawa] Kazashigaoka station of Kotoden

春、うららかな日に琴電にのって「桜を見てみよう！」と思い立って、1日乗り放題フリーパスをもってことでん沿線の桜を観に行く旅にでてみました。

One fine spring day, I decided on a whim to hop on the Kotoden train and go and see the cherry blossoms, so I set off on a trip to view the blossoms along the Kotoden line with a one-day unlimited travel pass.

難読駅でたまに目にする駅、ことでん「挿頭丘駅（かざしがおかえき）」は、高松～琴平の間にある駅で、丘の上の別荘地を見上げるように電車が通り、斜面に植えられた桜の木がとても綺麗です。

A station with a rather unusual name that you occasionally come across is Kōden’s ‘Kazashigaoka Station’. Located between Takamatsu and Kotohira, trains pass by looking up at the holiday home estate on the hilltop, and the cherry trees planted on the slope are truly beautiful.

さて、挿頭丘駅を下車し、丘の上の歩道橋へ。他にもことでんファンの皆さんが三脚で場所取りして撮影しておりました。ひやく号の時刻表を確認して待つこと３０分。

挿頭丘駅（かざしがおかえき）は、香川県綾歌郡綾川町畑田にある、高松琴平電気鉄道琴平線の駅である。駅番号はK11。旧琴平電鉄が住宅・別荘地として開発した挿頭丘別荘地への最寄駅として開設された駅である。2021年に地域応援サイト「生活ガイド.com」で募った「難読駅ランキング西日本編」で1位となった。
